WELCOME TO PINAH

Hi

It's Joana here, the person behind all of these and who made the jewellery you just got. I hope you like it.

Here, you are going to find information about your piece, how to take care of it, learn more about myself and, of course, about Pinah.

Again, Welcome to Pinah. It's great to have you on this journey with me.

JEWELLERY CARE GUIDE

Taking good care of your jewellery will help you keep them in great condition for a long time.

GENERAL CARE

Store your jewellery in a box or pouch in a clean, dry place away from direct sunlight.

Clean your jewellery carefully with a dry soft, non-abrasive and lint-free cloth or tissue.

Don't sleep, shower, swim or exercise wearing your jewellery.

Apply makeup, perfume, hairspray, sunscreen, lotions and moisturisers before putting your jewellery, as the chemicals present on them may damage the pieces.

Avoid dropping your jewellery onto hard surfaces, as it can weaken, scratch or break the pieces.

Although Pinah's jewellery is quite sturdy, they are all handmade. Therefore, it should be handled with care and attention.

GOOD TO KNOW

Sometimes the shiny surface on black Jesmonite and Polymer Clay can fade away a touch. To get it back, just buff a tiny amount of vaseline onto the surface with a clean fingertip and wipe any excess off with a dry and clean cloth or tissue.

Some metals such as bronze, silver, brass and iron may naturally tarnish or rust over time.

REPAIRS

If for any reason you damage your jewellery, please contact us at hello@pinah.co.uk, and we'll do our best to help.

ABOUT PINAH

Created by Joana, a Brazilian jewellery artist living in London. Pinah was born from her passion for jewellery, shapes and forms but especially from her curiosity in making wearable objects.

Experiments to Wear is what she prefers to call her pieces. After establishing a concept she begins to experiment and likes to play with different materials throughout the creative process.

Handcrafted. From start to finish, all pieces are handmade through a fluid, intuitive and offbeat approach to making jewellery; her final pieces are raw, playful, experimental and, most importantly, wearable.

Unique. Her way of working and experimenting means no two pieces are ever the same, making each and every creation truly unique.
