Munich Jewellery Week 2024
If you follow me on Instagram, you already know I was at Munich Jewellery Week with the Dialogue Collective and our show Fun & Games. And, let me tell you, IT WAS FUN.
I have been part of Dialogue Collective for over a year now. The collective was created 20/25 years ago, and most of us are based in London. We do have three artists who are based in France, but the majority are here in London.
We are all independent jewellery artists with our own line of work. We meet once a week to debate new ideas and projects that can creatively challenge us and, most importantly, ideas that can create a dialogue about jewellery and its representation in this world.
So, this year, we decided to explore Fun & Games for Munich Jewellery Week.
From pieces made from waste to Monopoly-inspired brooches to a whole set based on pick-up sticks and even augmented reality... It was exciting to see how each one of us decided to interpret this theme and translate it into pieces.
Here is a little video about our show.
For my pieces, I decided to translate Fun & Games as Superpowers.
Inspired by the essence of childhood wonder and imagination, I created the Superpowers pieces as a nostalgic reminder of the joyous moments when we believed we could soar through the skies with a simple pillowcase cape or see beyond the ordinary with a makeshift spyglass.
Through those pieces, I aimed to evoke the playful spirit of our youth and reignite the limitless potential that often fades as we grow older.
THE FLIGHT CAPE
THE MIND READER RING
In a world that often feels constrained by reality, I wanted the jewellery to be a whimsical invitation to rediscover the magic within ourselves, prompting us to embrace our innate superpowers – creativity, resilience and imagination – and to infuse our lives with the same sense of wonder and possibility that fuelled our childhood adventures.

So, what do you think?
They are all one-of-a-kind, and soon, they will be available on the website. Make sure you sign up for my newsletter to be the first to know when they become available.
