These are the exact earrings chosen by designer Emilia Wickstead to pair with the fluidity of her collection.
Inspired by the rhythmic flow of a summer day in my home country, Brazil, the Bossa Earrings have a distinct organic shape and a natural flair.
I craft this version entirely by hand from solid silver. Because they are handmade, not cast from a mould, they have a unique, fluid quality that is difficult to achieve in metal. Each pair is individual, with its own character and a beautiful, bright silver finish.
But why Bossa?
For us Brazilians, bossa has a specific meaning. It's a bit like the French' je ne sais quoi'. Bossa is that person who is charming, sexy, and has an intriguing way of thinking or just being. It is the gingado (swagger) that only summer days can provide.
That is precisely the attitude I put into these earrings.
