ABOUT THE JEWELLERY

It’s a crossbody necklace inspired by the idea of a balloon. Why not, right?

I sculpted the pendant from concrete resin to capture the feeling of that round, floating shape, but without trying to be a perfect copy. It feels solid and cool to the touch, a permanent memory of something temporary.

The chain is the real labour of love here. I handmade every single link from iron. It gives the piece a raw, industrial strength that looks amazing against the organic, soft curves of the pendant.

I only made two of these. After I cast them, I destroyed the moulds. That means these two are the only ones that will ever exist.

This is the piece people ask about. The one that makes them smile. The conversation starter that says you don't take life too seriously.
