ABOUT THE JEWELLERY

As seen at London Fashion Week at Emilia Wickstead's show.

This is the piece chosen by designer Emilia Wickstead to pair with the fluidity of her collection.

Inspired by the rhythmic flow of a summer day in my home country, Brazil, I hand-sculpt every single Bossa Choker from artist-grade polymer. I intentionally shaped the material to look organic and fluid, capturing a sense of movement even when it's still.

Because of the material, it is incredibly lightweight. You get the visual impact of a runway piece without any of the weight, making it comfortable enough to wear all day. It is also slightly adjustable; you can wear it high on the neck or lower on the collarbone.

But why Bossa?

For us Brazilians, bossa has a specific meaning. It’s a bit like the French 'je ne sais quoi'. Bossa is that person who is charming, sexy, and has an intriguing way of thinking or just being. It is the gingado (swagger) that only summer days can provide.

That is precisely the attitude I sculpted into this choker.

ABOUT PINAH

Jewellery that lets you express exactly who you are.

In a world that's forgotten how to be interesting, Joana Pires created Pinah to bring pieces for those who refuse to be boring.

the jewellery

made by hand

From start to finish, everything is made by hand by Joana, only.

It's through an intuitive process of experimenting with shapes and forms that her pieces come alive. Like being born, it's raw and cathartic - and that's where the magic happens, in the actual doing.

Each piece emerges with its own distinct personality and unique marks, making every creation truly one-of-a-kind.

My Hana earrings have arrived very promptly and I am thrilled with them. I was looking for something understated and elegant and they are exactly that. They are also super-light and incredibly comfortable to wear. The zoom call was helpful for deciding which ones to chose, so much so I bought 2 pairs! Thank you for your excellent customer service. I look forward to future purchases.
