Inspired by the idea of paintings coming to life, the Polka Dots Stud Earrings are created using only a paintbrush.
Slowly, drop by drop, the paint, made of a concrete-type resin, is put together in a process that takes three days to complete. No moulds are used to craft it, making each piece unique with natural imperfections and colour variations.
First conceived to be just as they are, a simple, one-colour pair of earrings, I thought they could be something else. So, each one was handpainted with polka dots, once again bringing the idea of paintings to life to their minimalistic aesthetic.
